You've been showing me the WIPs for this, but the final version is awesome, man! Love the textures!

Hikari responds:

I'm glad you like it! I'm hoping that it wont be too distracting in the final work. :)

Killer ambience, dude.

Hikari responds:

Thank you!

Holy cow! This is incredible, especially for the apparent limitation of three days? I mean getting vocals and everything? The instrumentation as well is beautiful. I'd love to know what libraries you're utilizing here.

Fun stuff, man! The first thing that comes to my mind, especially at the beginning though, is that the pizz feels really, REALLY dry. I think the piece could do with being put through a little reverb. Just like, a hall you could route all the instrument lines into. Would give it a sense of space.

Otherwise, I like the fantasy vibe you're evoking, and I think did the picture you picked some real justice!

Killer stuff! Good use of minimal chord movement, with an obvious time constraint from having to dish this out in a day, haha. Only thing is I wouldn't have minded hearing that reverb tail ring out more! Kinda cuts off the end, lol.

Troisnyx responds:

Yeeeee, notes taken. Thank you 💖

Sadly, HTML5 players don't work very well with loops, as has also been the case with SoundCloud: the cutoff at the end looping back to the beginning is very much a feature and I wish it weren't there. 😥 No removal of the initial silence present in MP3s seems to do the trick.

Really groovin'!

Really beautiful, powerful stuff! Great phrasing on the melody! Very emotional!

JessieYun responds:

Thanks a dozen for the comment! Glad you enjoyed it :)

You showed me this, and a couple of variations of it through DMs, but I just wanna say here that this is seriously a major bop, haha. You've got an incredible knack for melodic phrasing, and can make some serious ear-worms even in just the span of a minute, like here.

Hikari responds:

I appreciate you <3

Pretty boppin' stuff, man. Only thing I'd say is the mix of things feels a little centered. Wouldn't mind maybe having some more instruments panned to the side, especially the ones doubling/paraphrasing the melody. Maybe even try experimenting with full on hard-panning. Like, just one ear. Results might be more interesting than you'd initially think. That stuff can really bring a sense of space to the overall arrangement, haha.

RealMrSnuggles responds:

Hey, thanks! I was actually considering this after listening to some Beatles.
